Creating visual things is a science of cultures across the globe. There are many fantastic and efficient ways to create illusions, but for this piece I wanted to see what I could do with these hands of mine that err. This project was also a way to get myself to "make" something visual instead of spending all of my time conceptualizing. As it happens, focusing on the action of creating illusions with imperfect techniques became a conceptual exploration in its own.
